Red Dirt Film is PROUD to announce this year's headlining guest, James V. Hart, legendary Hollywood screenwriter of such classics as Steven Spielberg's Hook (1991), Bram Stoker's Dracula (1992), Muppet Treasure Island (1995), Contact (1997), August Rush (2007), The Hot Zone (2019), and more! Mr. Hart will be featured during our livestream event on the on-demand portal's live events section, Saturday March 13th, from 6:30-8 pm CST. The format will be an AMA "ask me anything" format, emceed by Brandi Mertens and moderated by Damon Blalack.

Mr. Hart has also been very gracious in supplying the festival with signed prize-ready copies of his HartChart toolkits for both beginning and seasoned writers that help them more effectively map their stories when creating screenplays.
